since i unexpectedly became the a cappella recording king of lansing last year i’ve worked on albums for a number of msu groups: the dischords, the accafellas, and ladies first. port authority, while made up of ex-msu singers, is the first a cappella cd i’ve recorded that’s unattached to the college. the quartet is fresh off of a six month contract with a cruise ship and decided to record their cd before the next contract started. we spent five full days recording, editing, and mixing before sending the master off to the duplicator and the cds made it back just in time for the group to fly to europe. check out ‘silhouettes’ below.
